QUALITY AND PREVENTION POLICY

S.A.T. NATURE CHOICE fixes as commitments of its Management System the following aspects:

1. Optimization of the company relationship with its clients, fixing measurable parameters that allow knowing:
- The degree of satisfaction of the farmers with respect to the technical advising service provided by S.A.T. NATURE CHOICE.
- The level of fulfilment of the needs required by our clients, with respect to the service received from the company’s staff, as well as the satisfaction shown by the final consumer with the product presented.
- The efficiency of the service and of the product provided by our suppliers, as a main part of the productive chain.
- The satisfaction of all the workers of S.A.T. NATURE CHOICE with respect to the benefits and means provided, as well as with respect to labour promotion and health prevention.

2. Development and optimization of a quality control system that guarantees the healthiness and the organoleptic characteristics of the product in all its handling and packing phases, starting from the same cultivations, and until the delivery of the product to the destination markets, fulfilling always the rules and other applicable specifications established by the clients, as well as the hygienic – sanitary criteria fixed by the different rules applicable to the handling process and food distribution.

3. Integration of all the staff of S.A.T. NATURE CHOICE in a continuous training and awareness plan with respect to the importance of implementing the Management Policy of the company, as an instrument of continuing improvement.

4. S.A.T. NATURE CHOICE undertakes to carry out its business activity with the minimum possible environmental impact, favouring the environment conservation, whether in the processes related with production as well as the processes related with handling, packing and delivery of fruit and vegetable products.

With this purpose, the following commitments are made:

  1. To reuse all the waste generated whose reusing is technically possible and the company can pay for their economic cost.
  2. To minimize the electricity and water consumption, as well as the consumption of fossil fuels.
  3. To minimize and carry out a rational use of phytosanitary products, fertilizers and organic matter.
  4. To promote the establishment of new cultivation techniques which are environmentally friendly.
  5. To provide the necessary means to eliminate any risk for the employees and consumers health.
  6. To reduce as far as possible the visual and acoustic impact on our installations.
  7. To favour the development of the fauna and autochthonous flora.

5. Development and optimization of a management system of prevention that guarantees the safety and health of the persons who are employed at S.A.T. NATURE CHOICE, whether if these persons work for the company or if they have been subcontracted, making a commitment to prevent damages and  health deterioration and fulfilling always the rules and other applicable specifications. The company also directs its dairy effort towards the continuing improvement and the development of the company with respect to health and safety in work, so that accidents and incidents may be reduced as much as possible within the company, and with the purpose that S.A.T. NATURE CHOICE becomes an example of fruit and vegetable handling company of the future, a safety company, where its employees are the main driving force of its good running.

6. The company shall keep in all its activities some ethical, labour and professional principles with respect to its philosophy, the workers, the clients, and, in general, to society.
